Movie Poster Redesign
For my movie poster redesign assignment, I reimagined The Devil Wears Prada and Snow White as horror films using Adobe Photoshop. In the redesign of The Devil Wears Prada, I introduced psychological horror elements by depicting the devil wearing the faces of iconic fashion designers, symbolizing themes of vanity and identity loss within the industry. My Snow White poster was transformed into a zombie concept using overlays of the poison apple, bright colors, and dark visual tone to contrast its original fairytale aesthetic. Throughout the project, I focused on atmospheric lighting, photo manipulation techniques, and dramatic composition to shift genre perception while retaining recognizable elements. This redesign strengthened my skills in digital imaging, mood creation, and narrative-driven visual transformation, and it was praised for its bold conceptual direction and cinematic impact.
