Magazine Redesign
For my Vogue magazine redesign assignment, I focused on modernizing the publication’s visual identity using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. The goal was to maintain Vogue’s iconic luxury aesthetic while appealing to a younger, digital-first audience (ages 18–35). I redesigned the print layout with a cleaner, bold approach, using spacious grid alignment, full-page fashion imagery, and high-contrast typography inspired by Didot and modern sans-serifs for readability. My design direction emphasized the use of space and dark visuals against bold typography and color, visual hierarchy, and editorial refinement. The redesign was well received for balancing elegance and modernity, and the project strengthened my skills in layout composition, typography selection, and brand evolution within a single-software workflow.
